And we're haulin.

Free time means more time browsing the web for information such as ideas ,deals, new products and trends which is a positive. However, its the other way around in my case because free time for me could also leave a hole in my wallet or should I say credit card. I browsed and browsed til my eyes hurt to find the best deals. I wanted it to be quality over quantity. To make the story short, I bought some raved about products and some that I need.

First off, I ordered Zpalettes. After my depotting craze, I ran out of empty palettes that can hold blushes, eyeshadows, etc. I will also be needing these when I've decided to depot my UD palettes. The two large palettes were on sale, $31 for the large red and prob zebra.

Next up, are cosmetics and skincare products. After seeing reviews and raves from A Model Recommends, I was convinced because of her beautiful skin so I've decided to try it as well. I also bought MAC Teddy Eye kohl and my 3rd blush from Tarte in the shade exposed.

These last two are items I don't really need but I've wanted a necklace like this for a long time after seeing a photo a Katie Holmes. This initials necklace is from Etsy.

This is the last item in my haul. Its a black canvass bag from Marc Jacobs, its very light. Thought I'd use this when going to the beach, instead of using my LV Neverfull. and for only $35, i think its a reasonable price. The only downside of this bag for me is that it doesn't have any pockets inside, but thats okay.

And there you have it ladies, my most recent haul.

What do you do on your spare time?

MAC eyeshadows.

Now that the majority of my MAC eyeshadows were depotted thought I'd show you all eyeshadows I own from MAC.

This full Zpalette holds my neutral/earthy colors.
MAC palette with my grey, blue and pink eyeshadows.
The last palette with the green shadows. By the way, the 2nd from left, 4th and 5th on the right are Make Up Designory shadows, forgot to remove them :D
And finally my limited edition my eyeshadow pots from Venomous Villains and Hey, Sailor! and palettes from Wonder Woman and Fabulous Felines collection.

Again, like what I've said before I know it's too much, but when you finally learn how to apply makeup, you feel like you need all colors/shade and you can't just ignore new MAC releases especially if the packaging is cute. I know, I'm guilty of that most of the time.  Everything was paid for by me and my aunt :)

Now, it's time to put these eyeshadows to good use! :)

More depotting.

I am in a serious mood for depotting. Today, I depotted more eyeshadows from Estee Lauder because the faux leather packaging is deteriorating.
If you missed my heatless depotting method and would like to see how I did it, click here.

Now, its nicely stored in my small zpalette! I'm seriously considering depotting my Urban Decay limited edition palettes next, should I?

Etsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny.

Not the most original and it sounds odd :D But two weeks I made my first Etsy purchase. Out of the hundreds of necklaces, I decided to stick with what I had in mind.

I got the Small sideways cross necklace here and the Hamsa necklace here. Both are sterling silver and 16inches long.

I am really happy with the necklaces and both sellers were awesome! So happy that i placed another order!

And still, I have my eyes set on another one. Etsy can be addicting!

Have you tried Etsy and what items have you ordered?

Depotting MAC eyeshadows w/o heat.

I've been meaning to depot my MAC eyeshadows for the longest time, but I find that it's too time consuming and messy. Most Youtube tutorials I've seen require using heat, but I dont like the smell of burnt plastic so it took me awhile to have my eyeshadows depotted.. not until today!

If you would like to see how I depotted my eyeshadows without heating/burning or melting the plastic, please keep on reading!

First, you'll need:

- MAC eyeshadows in the pot
- pair of scissors
- metal cuticle pusher
- cotton pads
- rubbing alcohol (not pictured)
- wire cutter
Procedure:

1. Insert the sharp tip of the cuticle pusher in the front gap between the plastic pan and eyeshadow pot, then wiggle until the plastic pan pops out. Be careful with the cuticle pusher as it is sharp and you dont want to hurt yourself.
 2. Using the wire cutter, cut the front (uneven) portion of the plastic pan. It should look like the photo below.
 just showing depotted pans :)
 3. Dip the flat wide tip of the cuticle pusher in rubbing alcohol (if needed)  and insert in the gap between the metal pan and plastic, wiggle lightly until the metal pan separates from the black plastic. The rubbing alcohol should loosen the glue.
 4. Cut the cotton pad in small squares using a pair of scissors. Dampen with alcohol and place on the bottom of the metal pan directly onto the glue and rub in circular motion until clean.
Your pan should look like this.
 All my depotted eyeshadows.
 5. Get the eyeshadow pan and carefully remove the sticker on the bottom of the plastic pot. Cut the label and stick on the metal pan.
 It would look like this.
and TADAAAAA! your depotted MAC eyeshadows :)

I finally used my spare Zpalette to store my MAC eyeshadows.

I looove it! I depotted 13 eyeshadows in less than an hour perfectly, no dents or damages. Depotting was never this easy!

Do you have better/quicker way of depotting MAC eyeshadows? Share on the comments below! :)

Playing Makeup Artist.

Last April, my dear cousin Shonie got married in the province. I was very lucky and honored that she gave me the opportunity practice what I've learned from Makeup Forever Academy and do her makeup. She wanted a very simple and natural day makeup or the no makeup-makeup look.

I got a copy of the photos last week from her. I didn't know that our photos will be taken during the preparation thats why I was only wearing shorts and tshirt. Had I known, I could've put on a more appropriate outfit. :)

Outfit: Zara assymetrical dress | Mango belt | Carvela shoes | Chanel bag | YSL ring | Majorica pearl earrings

At first, I had apprehensions when she asked me to do her makeup. It was her big day and of course I want her to look stunning, but she believed in me and my capabilities.

I surely did enjoy doing her makeup and I'm very glad that she, her hubby, family and guests complimented her very natural makeup.

It was a day filled with love, fun and laughter. ❤

Online haul.

Wet N Wild Walking on Eggshells | Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Tipsy
Last week I did a little online retail therapy. Only four items made to by basket from different merchants. I made a promise that I won't be buying anymore makeups, but my first Tarte blush made an impression so I decided to get Tipsy (from Sephora). Another one my list will be in shade Exposed. The Wet N Wild (from Zalora Philippines) eyeshadow trio is also very nice, again, another neutral palette to add to my ever growing collection. And from Amazon I got the Tigi Catwalk Curl Defining Serum and Reviva Labs' 5% Glycolic Acid Cream. I've been very eager to try the glycolic acid, as it's good for problem skin (pigmentation, pimple marks, etc). I will have to report back on its effectivity.

After this purchase, I placed some more orders and Im waiting for its arrival.
