Little shopping in Korea.

Shopping was never part of my plan in Korea. All we planned was sight seeing and visit places where most Korean dramas where shot or filmed (I mentioned before that I'm a K-drama addict :-))

But as usual, being the shopaholic and product junkie that I am, I did shop a bit. Here's what came home with me.

For makeup/skincare products, I got 3 bottles of Bioderma Sensibio which bagged many good reviews both in blogs and vlogs. I got 2 500ml bottles and 1 100ml for travelling.
Bioderma Sensibio (2) 500ml and 100ml
I went a little crazy over Missha (Korean brand). I got two BB creams (love BB creams!), the perfect cover, Matte BB cream, BB Boomer or BB primer and  some skincare from the Time Revolution line. And from SkinFood (another Korean brand) Black Sugar Mask Wash off.

Missha BB Creams and Missha B.B Boomer
Missha Time Revolution
freebies: Mask sheets and Bioderma
As for non-makeup related products, I got a cute pin case from Cath Kidston where I'm planning to house all my bobby pins. A longchamp metallic tote and Apple Leather Care to clean and protect my leather bags.

All in all, I'm very happy with my haul. It's not too much which is good. I think I did pretty well! :)

MAC Azalea Blossom.

I have only discovered this blush ombre while browsing at ebay a few days ago. Maybe, when this was released, I wasn't very much interested in makeup like I am now. I have only two MAC blushes 2years ago, but now, I have many blushes from different brands.

I know there are 3 (if I'm not mistaken) more blush ombre that MAC released. And I am on the hunt for them.

I'm in love with this blush!

What I packed for Korea.

I was never a light traveller. I always pack so much clothes, more than I can use. I always pack extra clothes worth a day or two, you'll never know.. But this time, on this trip to Korea I decided to start packing light and get used to it.

I'll be here in Korea for 9 days so I brought clothes for 10days, just one extra set excess. I also used my medium (but expandable) luggage, in case I end up shopping again, like what happened in my previous out of the country trips.

I packed mostly shorts and loose tops, a pair of skirt and leggings, since its summer in Korea. I brought 4pairs of shoes/sandals and a few accessories, things I'm sure I can use.
Tory Burch Eddie Flats | D&G sandals | Tory Burch Thora Sandals | Gorjana Sandals
Accessories from Mango, Asos, Topshop & Five by Five (House of Harlow-esque)
As for make up, I will do a separate post.

Do you have tips on how to pack when travelling?

By the time your reading this, I am sitting uncomfortably in the plane :D bound to Korea. I will be spending nine days with my brother and his Korean fiancee (he just proposed =) ) and also with my hubby, but he will only be there for 5days because of his flight.

Hubby and I are so excited to try Korean streetfoods and authentic Korean dishes. But more importantly, I am very much excited to visit places where many Korean dramas were shot (yes! im a koreanovela fanatic).

I will try to blog whenever I can, which im very unsure about because we have so much planned.

Beauty & Drugstore Haul.

I fell in love with my Revlon Just Bitten Kissable balm stains the first time I applied it on my lips. After seeing many blog posts and swatches, I realized I needed more so I immediately opened my browser and headed to Beauty & Drugstore, which was a bad idea coz I ended up getting so much.
I did not only order two more balm stains, I also ordered blushes from Milani and Tarte which I have been wanting to try but it's not available here. This haul is basically a combination of products which I feel in love with and some products that I 've been itching to try.
Tarte Amazonian Clay blush | Milani Blushes in Dolce Pink, Luminoso & Berry Amore
Maybelline Color Tattoo in Too Cool & Audacious Asphalt
Andrea Lashes
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balmstains in Precious & Darling
DuWop Lip Venom Trio
Now that my Dior Lip Maximizer is almost on its last leg, I decided to try DuWop's lip venom.

Now that I have so much makeup to try, I should and must be on a shopping ban.

Have you hauled something?

Sole searching.

The comfiest flats I found and now own. These are the Yosi Samra foldable ballet flats. Just by looking at the photos, you can already tell how soft and comfy they are. There are so many designs to choose from. There are flats and flip flops. Prices vary depending on the design, plains are cheaper.

I love how I can pop them in my handbag to rescue my feet from a day/night of wearing heels. It comes in a black pouch which saves room in your handbag and prevents your things from getting dirty.

If you are looking for a pair of comfy flats, I suggest you check out Yosi Samra. Definitely worth the investment!

June 2012 Favorites.

I haven't done a favorites post in a long time. The last one I did was October last year :D Many things happened the past few months, there were family issues that needed my attention and out of town and country trips after everything was sorted.

Anyways, I won't bore you with personal stuff. Let's move on to my favorites post.

Shiseido Eyelash Curler - After using the extra rubber pad of my Shu Uemura curler, I decided to try another curler instead of buying Shu Uemura again. I love how this curls my lashes seamlessly and the curl lasts longer even when I have my mascara on.

Bobbi Brown SPF35 BB Cream - As you know, I love BB creams. I wear BB creams more often than foundation. It's lighweight and has high SPF.

MAC Blot Powder - My favorite powder for touch ups. Removes oil and shine perfectly.

Lanolips 101 Ointment - I use this alternately with my Carmex Moisture Plus lipbalm. This versatile ointment can also be used in the face and dry/flaky areas of the body.

Dior Lip Plumper - I love the tingly sensation on my lips and I'm bound to finish this tube in no time.

Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Mascara - The size of the brush is perfect to reach all lashes. The formula is not dry nor wet. And what's perfect about this is it was freebie in Harrods. :)

Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Eyeliner - at par with high end brands like Bobbi Brown and MAC but for a fraction of the price.

I would love to know your favorites!
